Terms of Use
The agreement between you and Cupboard. Plain terms, no surprises — but please read the part about food safety, because a meal planner is not a food-safety inspector.

The service
Cupboard is operated by 6rhinos LLC, doing business as CupboardBot — “we” and “us” below. These terms are the agreement between you and us.
Cupboard plans meals from the food you tell it you have, and produces a shopping list for what is missing. You need an account to use it. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself.
Food safety — please read this one
Cupboard tracks what you told it you have, including expiry dates you entered or that a scan guessed. It cannot see, smell or test your food. Never treat a Cupboard plan as confirmation that an ingredient is safe to eat. Judge that yourself, and when in doubt, throw it out.
Cupboard is not a source of nutritional, dietary or medical advice. If you have an allergy or a medical condition that constrains what you eat, check every recipe yourself. Ingredient and allergen data can be wrong or incomplete.
Cupboard Plus
- Cupboard Plus is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel.
- The price is shown in the app before you buy, and we will tell you before it changes.
- Cancel any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. You keep Plus until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not pro-rate partial months.
- Deleting your Cupboard account does not cancel the subscription. Apple bills it and only you can stop it, in the same Settings screen. Cancel there first, or you will keep paying after the account is gone.
Your content
Your pantry, plans and photos stay yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — to store what you enter and, when you ask for a scan, to process the photo as described in the Privacy Policy. We claim no other rights over it.
Acceptable use
- Do not break the service, or try to get at other people's accounts or data.
- Do not scrape the recipe catalogue or resell what the planner produces.
- Do not upload photos you have no right to upload, or anything unlawful.
Availability
We try to keep Cupboard running and its data right, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service outright, we will give you notice and a way to export your data.
Liability
Cupboard is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the effective date above will change. Continuing to use Cupboard after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us goes to the state or federal courts located in Florida, and we each agree those courts may hear it.
